IRONROCK

Strength Built for Service

Coached strength and conditioning with a purpose: helping you become stronger, more capable, and better prepared for the people and responsibilities that matter. We’re working toward bringing IRONROCK to Dutchess County, New York. While we secure a location and build our new website, you can get to know the mission, follow our progress, and help shape what comes next.

Joining the Interest List is free and does not commit you to a membership.

NAME CHANGE

Temple Built is becoming IRONROCK

If you found us through Temple Built or TMPL.BLT, you’re in the right place. Trademark considerations led us to choose a new name as a prudent step in building the business. The mission, founder, and vision continue. IRON speaks to strength developed through resistance. ROCK speaks to a firm foundation in faith and purpose. Together, they carry forward what Temple Built has always meant: building strength that serves a greater purpose.

PHILOSOPHY

Strength for the life you’re called to live

Strength has a place beyond the training floor: carrying your child, staying capable as you age, meeting a demanding workday, and showing up for someone who needs you. IRONROCK is being built around purposeful training, patient coaching, and shared accountability. We want people to learn how to move well, build confidence, and make progress they can carry into everyday life. Our founder’s Christian faith shapes the mission and our belief in stewardship: caring for the body and using our abilities to serve others. People of every faith, and those with no faith affiliation, are welcome. You don’t need to arrive strong or experienced. You need a willingness to begin.

TRAINING OVERVIEW

What training will look like

Our planned approach brings individual coaching into a shared training environment, with guidance and adjustments for different starting points.

We’re also planning opportunities for community training, shared challenges, and guided mobility and breathing. Sessions, schedules, and availability will be announced as plans are finalized.

Coached Strength and Conditioning

Build strength and work capacity through foundational movements such as squatting, hinging, pushing, pulling, carrying, and locomotion. The emphasis is on sound movement, appropriate challenge, and steady progress.

A Supported Beginning

Learn the movements, understand the training approach, and build confidence through introductory coaching and Foundations before progressing into regular sessions.

Purposeful Specialty Sessions

Planned options include additional focus on conditioning, athletic power, mobility, balance, and movement quality, along with a dedicated landmine session drawing on Landmine University methods.

The final session mix will reflect member needs and the opening schedule.

PROGRESS AND SURVEY

Help shape what comes next

We’re working toward securing the right location for IRONROCK in Dutchess County. A lease has not yet been signed, and an opening date has not been confirmed. Your input can help us plan around the people we hope to serve. Tell us when you could train, what you want to work toward, and what would help you feel supported. Our Builders Survey gathers feedback on training times, session interests, goals, and preferences.

You can complete the survey whether you’re ready to join or simply interested in what we’re building.

FOUNDER

Meet Anthony

I’m Anthony Martinez, founder of IRONROCK, a husband, father of three, and Marine Corps veteran. This vision grew from my own experience with training, setbacks, faith, and the responsibility to keep showing up for the people who depend on me. I’m building the kind of place I believe many of us need: a place to be coached, challenged, encouraged, and reminded that our strength has a purpose.
